He guided us in learning about the city - the quirks and contours of each neighborhood, the school system, the history. He showed us a wide variety of properties that might fit our needs and was able to show us several pre-market properties thanks to his relationships with the area's top agents. He was always available via phone call or text, and after a short while, I felt like we were working with a friend who happened to be an agent. We ended up in an unusual arrangement where we purchased a property simultaneously with our friends who purchased a neighboring property (both properties were being offered by the same seller). It was an amazing opportunity for us, but the transaction was complicated and required that Scott work closely with another buyer agent. Scott navigated this process flawlessly and kept us fully in the loop each step of the way. In the end, things worked out just as we'd hoped! He has great taste and knows what's available in different neighborhoods and at different price ranges. At every open house that we went to, Scott pointed out the pros and cons of each. In addition to seeing a house as it is, he is also great at describing the improvements that could be made to the house -- things like knocking down a wall or adding an extra bathroom. We ended up buying a house from a real estate developer who was difficult to work with, and Scott negotiated a fair deal for us. We would definitely work with Scott again."
